Interested in being an editor? Want to learn how to put together a literary journal? Or just want to be part of an exciting group of readers, artists, and writers?
High Plains Register is a co-curricular opportunity.
Our staff members belong to a Laramie County Community College campus club/organization and can earn course credit for their work on the publication at the same time!
You do not need to be a degree-seeking or full-time student to participate, but you must be enrolled as a Laramie County Community College student.
Scholarship opportunities available!
- serve as acquisition editors to solicit and manage submissions
- serve as genre editors
- manage and create web/social media content
- design the print publication with desktop publishing software
- edit copy
- organize literary readings and open mics
- advertise and market the publication

To be part of the HPR staff without registering for course credit, adviser approval is required; you also must be a current student at LCCC.
