High Plains Register Staff, Spring 2017

Interested in being an editor? Want to learn how to put together a literary journal? Just want to be part of an exciting group of readers, artists, and writers?

High Plains Register is a co-curricular opportunity.

Staff members belong to a Laramie County Community College campus club/organization and earn course credit at the same time!

(Staff must be registered for ENGL 2100: Literary Magazine is a variable credit course with flexible meeting times. (Participants can sign up for 1, 2, or 3 credits a semester.))

You do not need to be a degree-seeking or full-time student to participate.

Scholarship opportunities available every semester!

Students involved in the High Plains Register will:
  • serve as the editorial board for submissions
  • design the print journal with desktop publishing software
  • organize literary readings and open mics
  • advertise and market the publication
